Facebook Privacy

-          Facebook Privacy is a very easy thing to just over look or skip right over. In the settings you are able to change who has the ability to see your posts, pictures and friends. If you have your privacy settings set to the default, it allows everyone to see every single thing on your Facebook wall. With the right settings changed, you can make it so only your friends can see your posts and not any people that you don’t want to see your things.

-          I would say my current privacy settings as of now reflect me pretty professionally. The only thing that people who aren’t my friends could see would be my “likes” which I feel represent me and aren’t offending by any means. I don’t really see any other changes to make after we went and changed them in class.

-          One change I made right away was all of the apps that have full access to my account. I started with 55 and after changes, I’m down to 15. Another change that I made was so my name didn’t appear on google with my Facebook page on it.

It's official, we're on Twitter!

Twitter is basically just another social media website where you can post short updates (as long as it's under 140 characters), you can follow other people and they can also follow you so they can see your tweets (post updates) whenever you post them. With Twitter, you can "re tweet" other comments that you like which is basically just forwarding them. When talking to a group of people and you all want to see the conversation, you are able to use # (hashtag) and then whatever your group wants after that to see all the comments. It's a very fun social media website to use.

Some pros of using Twitter for Quinn's Quality Catering would be that it's another place where I'm able to be discovered and help get my name out there more. Twitter would also let me be able to keep in touch with clients and they could see what I'm up to too. Some cons of using Twitter for my business would be that maybe it wouldn't look as professional for my business, and not as many people are on Twitter as a social media website so not as many people would be seeing my tweets. It would also be hard for me to make a connection with each and every single customer of mine on Twitter.

Engage Tweet: "If you follow me on Twitter, and re-tweet my last tweet you will be entered to win a free catering event from me!"

Entertain Tweet: "What do you call cheese that isn't yours? Nacho Cheese!"

Inform Tweet: "Try out this new recipe I'm using for making my new tasty desserts! (Insert recipe)"
